Kalle’s works are currently on view in the group exhibition Taittuva aika at Lapland Artists’ Association Gallery. The exhibition runs until June 3, 2025.
On display are three pieces from Kalle’s Dot Variations series:
Dot Variations 2, Dot Variations 5, and the smaller Dot Variations 6.
The series explores rhythm, material, and time. Each work contains more than 30,000 hand-glued dots, punched from recycled packaging—cardboard, plastic, and other found materials.

Kalle uses a hole punch to create the dots and glues them one by one using tweezers and a brush. The process is slow and meditative, allowing the surface to gradually take form through quiet repetition.
