Technique: Graphite on cream carton

Year of manufacture: 2023

I placed a handful of graphite—about 2 cm each, like pencil cores—into empty cream cartons and shook them. The movement of the graphite inside created marks on the inner surfaces of the packaging. After opening and flattening the cartons, I combined two of them into one composition. The result reflects a balance between control and chance, shaped by the geometry of the folded structure and the physical qualities of the materials.
